Team Tongue Tie’s International Board Certified Lactation Consultants are trained to help with all breastfeeding issues. Mothers often know or feel that something is not right, but they cannot identify the problem.  We can help with breastfeeding concerns related to a tongue tie as well as any other concerns.

Any time can be the 'right time' to see a lactation consultant. If you have a history of breastfeeding difficulties or potential breastfeeding concerns, seeing a lactation consultant prenatally can help you create a plan for breastfeeding once the baby is born. Seeing a lactation consultant immediately after delivery can help get breastfeeding off to the best possible start. Other times, breastfeeding difficulties can pop up weeks later. Regardless of where you are at in your journey, we want to help. We want you to enjoy every benefit of breastfeeding. As our schedule allows, we invite you to make a private appointment either in the office or for a home visit with Dr. Sacker to personally address specific concerns and questions that you may have and create an individualized plan of care for you and your baby’s needs and your overall goals. This would be billed as a separate consult or home visit and usually lasts an hour.

Some outside IBCLC's that do private visits take some insurance or belong to The Lactation Network so up to 6 visits with them may be fully covered by your insurance!  This is a great way to get interim support between our office visits too and work on things like baby massage and bottle feeding from our experts.
